The Administrative Services Division is the responsibility of Sergeant Lisa Sage.
Sergeant Sage's title involves a myriad of duties. Managing the Records Division as well as overseeing Animal Control are just two of her many responsibilities.The records division maintains all of the official police records - recording, dissemination and disposal. She oversees the parking enforcement and citations as well as alarms, grafitti, and blight. She is also the community outreach for the schools in Emporia.
As the department's Public Information Officer or PIO, Sergeant Sage is responsible for press releases and other announcements to the public. Also encompassed in that title is community and media relations which includes the police facebook page, twitter and the community liaison for educational/safety talks, community meetings and special events.
